Review

As opposed to the Immortal’s facial cream, that mostly promises though do not deliver, this product actually delivers. Though some of L’occitane’s claims for this extract are baseless, especially the promise to tightened up the skin, it does supply some great skin benefits.
In addition to some beneficial plant extract, one surprising component is a stable derivative of Vit. C, present in a reasonable concentration. It has the ability to assist in renewing the skin’s collagen, improves uneven pigmentation and protects the skin from free radicals.
A few beneficial oils have been integrated in the formula. They supply the luxury GLA fatty oil and assist in uplifting the skin’s moisture level and decreasing its TEWL. By doing so contribute to the skin’s flexibility and glow.
Sadly, this product, as other products in the series, contains the immortal oil. There is a paucity of researches to back immortal oil’s properties. What was found is, when it is applied topically, in concentration higher than 0.5%, it can causes irritation.
Important to note that the formula contains additional ingredients that may cause irritation but their concentration is low, so pls. test before using if you find the need.

Cons

  • Pricing, pricing, pricing. The product is overpriced and unfortunate inaccessible to all.
  • Contains a small amount of ingredients that may cause skin irritation.
